Registration fees are $45.00 /day. Total cost will be $225.00. Cost includes physics materials and lunch.

| Eligible Attendees: |
Project Directors for the Texas Regional Science Collaboratives, and ITMs with physics expertise. Collaboratives are encouraged to team a master physics teacher with a physics professor. Registration is limited to two attendees per collaborative.

| Description: |
The week will be a continuation of last year's institute on kinematics and dynamics. We will focus on energy and momentum at the first of the week and go to Six Flags over Texas on Thursday to learn how to take field data relating to all the concepts studied so far. Bring your equipment issued last year to take to the amusement park (GLX and/or LabPro) and we will provide your collaborative with accelerometers, data vests, and a wonderful culminating experience for Kinematics and Dynamics! Representatives from PASCO and Vernier will join us at Six Flags to help your comfort level of using the devices and make sure you know how to teach this to other teachers. You don't want to miss it!

Participants must call in for their own reservations. You will need to use your own credit card to hold room and for incidental charges. Rooms are single occupancy. The final room charges will be direct billed to the TRC. Your only cost will be incidentals. Participants will be reimbursed for travel expenses (up to $400.00)

There will be free parking in Lots C, A and B. Lot C is closest to the Haggerty Science Building.
