University of North Texas Regional Collaborative / Denton
Mission
The Mission of the Regional Collaborative for Excellence in Science Teaching UNT is to provide the North Texas area with a cadre of teachers who can make science activities a meaningful learning experience through Hands-on, Minds-on activities for the students.
Accomplishments
We have been able to offer workshops to over 75 teachers in the program in the past few months. These teachers in turn have impacted other teachers with their training, which will ultimately impact the learning experience of their students.
