Mission

The mission of the Lake Houston Regional Collaborative is to foster enthusiasm and knowledge of science while increasing student achievement.

Accomplishments

Lake Houston Science Collaborative works with seven local districts and three private schools to serve the area surrounding Lake Houston, northeast of Houston.  The data we collect from our partners continues to indicate strong gains in teacher background knowledge and associated gains in student achievement data.

Lake Houston Science Collaborative consists of the following public school districts:

Activities & Events:

This year the summer institute is June 16-27 at Creekwood Middle School, Kingwood, Humble ISD. Dr. Betty Crocker will be with us once again and will address earth science topics. You are free to attend any and all of the sessions during those 10 days. We have 4 special dates planned this year within the institute.
