Mission

The mission of the Texas Regional Collaboratives for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching in Region 2 is to support Mathematics teachers with relevant, state-of-the art sustained and high intensity professional development to empower them to lead systemic reform in Mathematics education in the state of Texas and Region II area.

Accomplishments

Teachers have been trained in mathematics TEKS revisions, in mathematics connections between grade levels, and in technology utilization in the mathematics curriculum. During the previous year 20 school districts and 3 private schools have been serviced by the Texas Regional Collaboratives for Excellence in Mathematics teaching.
