Title: Registration and completion of participant data forms; Pretests, Program overview and expectations
Description: Students register and complete the data forms. Students take pretests and are given an overview of the course.

Title: Children's Thinking in Math K-5
Description: Workshop that focused on how elementary children learn mathematics, with an algebra focus.

Description: Introduction and analyzing written student work.

Title: Teaching math TEKS with Technology
Description:
Participants learn to teach algebraic concepts using graphing calculators and data collecting tools to improve their understanding of functional concepts.

Title: Situated Performance based Assessment
Description: Participants were introduced to concepts of alternative assessments in mathematics that focused on creating situational performance based assessment tasks that focused on the students cultural background and experiences in order to understand the students strengths and weaknesses.
