Region 9 Collaborative/Wichita Falls
Mission
The Regional Mathematics Collaborative provides quality professional development for teachers and administrators within Region 9 ensuring teachers possess the instructional skills to meet the needs of all learners including ESL, ELL and special needs students. The mathematics professional develoment modules encourage instruction that meets the level of rigor of the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills using the 5E model.
Accomplishments
Gary Browning and Ward Roberts have developed a training for GeoGebra, a free instructional resources for teachers. Also, pre-developed GeoGebra Worksheets are available at the following website: http://www2.esc9.net/math/geogebra/
