Collaborative Events and Activities

Fall 2009 Title: Chemistry Workshops
Description: Chemistry for All and Fundamentals of Chemistry will be presented to provide teachers with hands-on experience with chemistry investigations.  These workshops will be delivered during our regular monthly meetings.
Spring 2010 Title: CHED 510: Analyzing Student Data in Chemistry
This course will focus on diagnosing obstacles students have with understanding molecular concepts.  Pedagogical strategies, structural models, and reflective teaching will be presented to improve education practices in the secondary chemistry classroom.
Summer 20010
Title: CHEM 511: Contemporary Issues in Chemistry II
Description

This course will focus on important contemporary topics in chemistry, specifically focusing on the concepts of the behavior of solutions and stoichiometric chemical reactions.
