Region 13 Collaborative / Austin
Mission
The goals of the Central Texas Regional Collaborative for Excellence in Mathematics Teaching are to provide high-quality, sustained, TEKS based professional development to math teachers and to build the leadership skills of those teachers as they return to their campus/district and share their learning experiences with their peers. This model enables more students to benefit from workshops provided by Region XIII.
Accomplishments
Region XIII Mathematics specialists, consultants, and partners currently work with teachers from high-needs districts/campuses to help them change their instructional practices and address needs of diverse student populations. We are working to develop a program that builds leadership capacity among our Math teachers.
