Region 15 Collaborative/San Angelo

Mission

The Education Service Center Region XV math team is dedicated to excellence in teaching mathematics through leadership, partnership, training, instructional coaching and service.

Accomplishments

  The ESC Region XV is receiving funding from the Texas Regional Collaborative for the 2009-2010 school year. In the summer of 2009 each MathTeacher Mentor has received 60 hours of high quality, research-based professional development. Forty-two MTMs are participating in the 2009-2010 Math Collaborative. The Collaborative is a tiered model of training. Each MTM will train 3-4 cadre members this school year for at least 15 clock hours. MTMs have received numerous books, manipulatives, and classroom supplies to use in their trainings with the cadre members.
